About Raleigh International

We believe young people can change the world. So, we create youth-driven change that lasts. We empower young people with the skills, experience and connections to be leaders of change through our programs Raleigh Expedition and Re:Green.

Change Starts Here.

“We [youth] are not only the future, we are also the now.”

Raleigh Expedition

Raleigh Expedition is an international volunteering program, open to all and engaging young people from all around the world. It engages volunteers in creating lasting change through projects that tackle environmental issues, access to education for all, and alleviate poverty.

It is one of the first UK programs to be accredited by the Gap Year Association and recognized by TeenLife as a Top 15 most popular Gap Program in 2020.

 Raleigh Re:Green

Our new UK programme Re:Green is a conservation and youth leadership programme for 18-24-year-olds taking place in remote areas of Scotland on 2 and 4-week placements. You will help restore Scottish woodlands, get a crash course on climate campaigning, and take on some of the UK’s most challenging but beautiful terrains on an 11-day adventure leadership trek.

“We [youth] are not only the future, we are also the now.”

Jose, Costa Rica

Join over 55,000 people from over 100 countries and become part of a global community dedicated to supporting youth-led action. We also have a bursary scheme to assist some applicants onto our programs.

Now is the time for action, not excuses. Tomorrow is too late.
