By joining us on our Philippines site you will be able to improve your diving skills in one of the most bio-diverse locations in the world, and become adept at identifying corals, fish and a host of other marine creatures. Grab the opportunity to make friends that will last a lifetime, and play an active role in tackling the global biodiversity crisis.
The role that you will play within CCC is a vital step in the creation of protected areas.
You do not need to have any prior science or dive training to join us, all we ask is that you are fit to dive, and eager to learn. We have expedition start dates every 4 weeks so you can join us as part of a gap year travels.
Anyone who joins for at least four weeks can gain certifiable training in PADI Open and Advanced Open Water scuba diving, Expedition First Aid and Indo-Pacific Reef Check, a globally recognised reef surveying methodology.

CCC have been in the Philippines for nearly 20-years and at our current site in Napantao since 2008. Our house reef, based about 20 meters from where you will stay, is one of the best dive sites in the Philippines. This is your chance to help protect this vibrant ecosystem.
The data collected is then analysed by CCC, and on-site staff work with the local barangay to reach a decision on how best to manage and conserve their reef systems, whilst upholding the needs of the local community.
Training is carried out through a mixture of classroom and scuba ‘pointy’ sessions to ensure it is adapted to a wide range of learning preferences, and fun! Once successfully trained you will be armed with the knowledge to carry out meaningful data collection.
