Living with Lions, South Africa

Help provide an animal sanctuary for sick, injured and orphaned animals

1-12 weeks

From £500

North West Province

In brief

The aim of the Living with Lions project is to provide an animal sanctuary for the sick, injured and orphaned animals that are brought in by local authorities or wildlife protection groups.

Not only will you work with the world’s top predators such as lions, leopards and cheetahs, but you also have the opportunity to work with elephants, zebras, ostriches, wildebeest and various other animals.

We will provide pre-departure information and advice as well as assistance and support while you are in the country, you will also have a 24-hour emergency contact.

Airport collection and drop off is included and you will be taken to comfortable cabins with electrical power where you will have breakfast, lunch and dinner provided throughout the week.

You will receive a monthly allowance to help you live on whilst you are staying in South Africa.

Having such an experience could support your career development in a certain field such as working with animals or even impress employers in general with your life-changing experience in the wilderness.

While in South Africa, you will be living in the same lodge that the ITV drama “Wild at Heart” was filmed.

This will be a great experience to look back on and show everyone you can step out of your comfort zone to do incredibly wild things!
