About Volunteering Solutions
Volunteering Solutions is a global travel organisation striving to make a difference in the lives of under-privileged people around the world. It accomplishes this by connecting travellers to volunteer opportunities in developing communities, with a focus on sustainable development.
Founded in 2006, Volunteering Solutions’ mission is to bridge the gap between the volunteers and the host communities so that everyone benefits from the new relationship. We aim to provide incredible affordable programs to participants and ensure that they can have a wholesome experience while travelling and volunteering abroad
Volunteer opportunities to support social and environmental causes
Currently, we’re operating in 26 destinations all over the world, offering more than 140 different programs. Volunteering Solutions places volunteer travellers under different projects across the globe. These programs are dedicated towards several social causes such as childcare, offering education to children living on the streets, women empowerment, wildlife conservation, healthcare and rural medical development amongst many others.
It was a lovely experience. Prepare for the unexpected and be willing to improvise. Volunteering Solutions won’t have everything planned out for you so make sure to have ideas of your own. For example, you may have extra free time after work assignments so have fun and go explore some monuments!
A partnership of people
More than 15,800 volunteers have travelled abroad to be a part of social change, holding hands with Volunteering Solutions. The organisation encourages people to step out of their comfort zones and actively participate in the process of eradicating poverty, empowering communities and supporting biodiversity.
Currently, VolSol is associated with more than 50 organisations including NGOs, Healthcare Departments, as well as Wildlife and Marine Conservation organisations.
I loved my experience while volunteering in Cusco, Peru. The family I stayed with was wonderful and I felt very welcome all the time. The volunteering itself was amazing and I enjoyed every second with the kids I worked with. I would do everything all over again!

When you finally take the plunge and reach your volunteering destination, our dedicated in-country team will support your transition into a new and vibrant culture and address any immediate issues you may have. Your safety and comfort are taken care of by the In-Country Support Team, which will be at your disposal whenever you need them. For younger volunteers especially, this team provides peace of mind for both them and any concerned parents or guardians.
One of the best experiences I had in my life! I had a wonderful time helping the students at school and felt that was actually making a difference. You really get connected with people and with the country’s culture, even if you go just for 3 weeks as I did. I met amazing volunteers that made this experience by far even better. This was my first volunteering experience abroad and definitely not the last!
