• The winner will be decided on the strength of their answer to the question ‘Why I want to embark on a purposeful adventure with a Year Out Group member‘?
• The winner of the bursary can claim the award at the time they book their experience. The organisation will reduce the total cost of your experience by £1000 on full payment of the balance required.
• If your program costs less than £1000 you cannot claim the balance of the bursary.
• The winner must book with one of our participating members during 2025 and start their program before Dec 31st 2026.
• The winner will need to comply with the terms and conditions of booking advertised by the company concerned and be eligible for the program they choose.
• The bursary cannot be used against the the costs of transport, food, accommodation or other expenses not already included in the advertised price of the program.
• In the event you postpone or cancel the experience, any refunds you are entitled to from the company will exclude the £1000 bursary and follow their usual booking conditions.

• No cash alternative is available and no funds will be transferred directly to the winner.
• The winner will be notified by email at the end of April 2025.
• By submitting their form, applicants agree that their full name and email address can be shared with participating YOG members for the sole purpose of receiving promotional material. Applicants can opt out of receiving further information by unsubscribing from any mailing they subsequently receive from our participating members.
• The winner agrees to contribute to additional but limited promotion of their bursary before and during their program.
