Nepal

Nepal, ‘the Federal Democratic republic of…’ , is a landlocked Himalayan country in South Asia that overlaps with East Asia. It is bordered by China (Tibet) to the north and by India (Bihar, Sikkim, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand) to the south, east and west.

It also suffers from high levels of hunger and poverty. Despite these challenges, Nepal is making steady progress, with the government declaring its commitment to elevate the nation from least developed country status by 2022.
