About Oyster Worldwide
Oyster is a well regarded Gap year organisation specialising in challenging voluntary projects and paid work abroad. Oyster prides itself on its personal approach getting to know every participant before departure. Many participants come to us through recommendation.
Most of our projects have been founded and nurtured by us over the past ten years.
Our goal is to enable you to immerse yourself in a different culture with a small group of like-minded individuals enjoying new challenges while helping others.
We are known for running life-changing gap year programs, giving you the opportunity to make a genuine contribution and for the first class support you receive.
A range of opportunities
Oyster’s wide range of popular gap year programmes, career break projects and volunteering breaks allow you to get under the skin of a country and to do something worthwhile whilst there.
Gap years, school leavers, gap year students, those taking career breaks, families and people in retirement.
A real highlight of our volunteering trips in particular is the wide range of people that you come across from all round the world.
And paid work too
Uniquely we also offer paid work in leading Canadian Ski resorts and French speaking Quebec as well as guaranteed farm work in the Australian Outback or city work in Sydney.
We’ll support you along the way
Our support is second-to-none, with an experienced destination manager, in-country staff and full financial protection from our ATOL bond. For group departures we also provide a comprehensive pre-departure course.
Easy to plan, great fun to do
Planning your trip with Oyster Worldwide could not be easier, with all of our staff members having done their own gap adventures and responsible travel.
It’s fun too, making lifelong friendships and returning home with a fresh outlook on the world and where you come from.
