About Pod Volunteer
Pod Volunteer is an award winning non-profit organisation that has been arranging ethical and inspiring volunteer trips around the world since 2001.
Our friendly team has a wealth of overseas volunteering and travel experience, and we pride ourselves on our project and location knowledge.
From helping you to prepare for volunteering and travelling overseas, to providing 24/7 back up while you are away, we are here to support you.

Where can I volunteer?
- You can join a volunteer trip for 1 weeks +.
- All trips are open for volunteers aged 18 + and a range of trips are open for volunteers aged 17+.
- We have a range of great value volunteer projects in Africa, Asia, Central and South America and Europe.
- We offer special trips for 16 and 17 year olds to help support turtle and marine conservation in Greece.
- We have trip options for families and groups to volunteer too.

Complete your DofE Award
Pod Volunteer is an Approved Activity Provider for The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award (DofE) and we offer participants the opportunity to achieve the Residential section of their Gold Award through joining a trip.
Safety and Support
Pod Volunteer takes the health and safety very seriously. We have a staged approach to managing the risks and health and safety implications that may be encountered in our locations and placements which includes assessments, preparation and management.
You will be supported by your dedicated Pod Volunteer Specialist who will help you throughout your volunteer journey and have a 24/7 emergency support available.
We are active members of the Year Out Group, ABTOT, Responsible Travel, Right Tourism and the FCDO Travel Aware Campaign.
