From supporting community initiatives and learning about local culture to exploring the world-famous temples of Angkor Wat, this journey is designed to challenge your perspective, build confidence and create memories that will stay with you for life.
The project work:
Community Development
Work alongside local communities on practical projects that support education, wellbeing and opportunity.
Through hands-on involvement, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of Cambodian life whilst developing teamwork, communication and leadership skills that will benefit you long after your gap year ends.
Cultural Immersion
One of the most rewarding aspects of the programme is the opportunity to build genuine connections with local people.
Whether learning about local traditions, spending time in villages or sharing experiences with community members, you’ll gain valuable insight into a culture very different from your own

Siem Reap:
Your journey begins in Siem Reap, home to the spectacular Angkor Wat temple complex.
Alongside exploring one of the world’s most iconic historical sites, you’ll experience the energy, colour and culture that make this one of Southeast Asia’s most popular destinations.
Rural Cambodia
Step beyond the tourist trail and experience authentic Cambodian life.
This is where you’ll spend time contributing to community projects, learning about local customs and gaining a deeper appreciation for the resilience and warmth of the Cambodian people
Jungle Adventure
The final stage of the programme takes you into Cambodia’s stunning natural landscapes.
Surrounded by rainforest, wildlife and breathtaking scenery, you’ll experience a completely different side of the country whilst reflecting on everything you’ve achieved during your journey.
