About The Leap

Say hello to planet-saving gap year experiences across Australia, South America, Africa and Asia. Reducing plastic in our oceans, protecting turtles and saving the rhino is just the tip of the melting iceberg. Come on in…

We are a small family run company, who specialise in sending groups of volunteers overseas to contribute on our planet-saving programs.

We offer an unrivalled collection of financially-protected, high-quality gap year programs where safety comes first – all organised and supported by caring and experienced staff.

Our gap year programs which combine multiple locations and different projects in a single trip.

We are passionate about helping our Leapers contribute to a greener planet. We organise everything meaning you can hit the ground running and make a real difference in places that need it most.

What’s your mix?

All our programmes include a mix of projects, in a mix of locations.

These will challenge both mind & muscle, whilst satisfying your desire for travel & contribution.

Work, rest and play

Gaining top-notch work experience is a great way to prepare for university or a full-time job.

Our care, teaching and medical internships in Sri Lanka and Nepal give you first-hand experience while living with the local community.

Many hands make light work

You’ll also do the whole thing as part of a team of 8-15 others…

…so a great social life comes as standard and many hands ensure the you can help create a real difference on our programs.

Supported by a team of friendly, caring superheroes

All of this is meticulously planned, executed and supported by our highly-experienced team of overseas project leaders and UK staff. They’re handpicked for their dedication to making your trip a safe and ultimately rewarding experience.

Our UK staff know exactly what’s involved in taking The Leap and are here to help before you go. Once the adventure begins, they’ll be busy liaising with your project leaders on the ground and monitoring your progress.

They’re on-hand 24/7 should you need them.

We help young people travel, develop and save the planet – JOIN THEM!
