Costa Rica
Costa Rica (literally Rich Coast), officially the Republic of Costa Rica to the south-southeast, is a country in Central America, bordered by Nicaragua to the north, Panama & the Pacific Ocean to the west and south, and the Caribbean Sea to the east.
Costa Rica is known for its beaches, volcanoes, and biodiversity. Roughly a quarter of its area is made up of protected jungle, teeming with wildlife including spider monkeys and quetzal birds.
Costa Rica was the first country in the world to constitutionally abolish its army.
